Lawyer-to-Lawyer Program
lawyer to lawyer
The Career Services Office (CSO) invites Illinois-based attorneys to mentor a recent UIC Law graduate through the Lawyer-to-Lawyer Mentoring Program, approved by the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism.
This one-year program pairs experienced attorneys with new graduates to provide guidance during the transition into practice while strengthening professionalism within the legal community. Participation is offered at no cost, and upon completion, both mentors and mentees earn six (6) hours of Professional Responsibility CLE credit, including one (1) hour of Diversity & Inclusion CLE and one (1) hour of Mental Health and Substance Abuse CLE.
If you are interested in serving as a mentor, please contact Dean Margaret O’Mara Frossard at mfrossar@uic.edu.
