If you’d like to order a diploma with the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law name and logo, please visit the Office of the Registrar’s page to place your order online. For diplomas issued prior to August 2019, there will be a special note at the bottom recognizing the legacy of the law school, stating, “This diploma was originally awarded under The John Marshall Law School.”

Chrissy Brown

Chrissy Brown is the new Executive Director of Development. In her role, Chrissy is the chief fundraising officer and leads the law school’s advancement program including alumni relations, major and leadership giving, annual giving, and law firm and corporate relations. With over a decade of experience in development and philanthropy, Chrissy combines a strategic vision with a passion for legal education to drive the law school’s advancement goals.

Before joining UIC Law, Chrissy served as the Assistant Dean of Advancement at Chicago-Kent College of Law and as the Director of Development at the UIC School of Public Health. Originally from Kankakee, Illinois, Chrissy earned her Bachelor of Science from Illinois State University and her Juris Doctorate from Southern Illinois University School of Law. Her commitment to enriching the alumni experience, coupled with her deep understanding of the legal education landscape, uniquely positions her to advance the mission of UIC Law.

Outside of work, Chrissy is a dedicated supporter of nonprofits that empower women and girls and currently serves as the President of the Associate Board of Girls Inc. of Chicago. She also loves traveling and Chicago’s incredible food scene! She looks forward to connecting with the UIC Law alumni community!
